I have to say, it's been a while since a single game hurt so much. Maybe because a Rose Bowl bid was on the line.
Both teams played well, and performed well in a tight game. I have to say, the one problem I have, besides losing, was the incomplete call on Keyshawn Martin's 4th quarter grab that would've continued the Spartans last drive to win the game. Instead the Spartans punt, stop Wisconsin, but get a fatal running into the kicker penalty that sealed the deal.
Now the way the play was called on the field complete. Taking a closer look, to me, it appears Keyshawn got a toe in first, but clearly the whole foot isn't in. Now I don't know the technicalities of an official catch as it pertains to the foot, but it's safe to say, for all B1G games, the entire foot has to be inside the border of the line.
Kinda weird that it came down to another close call that required replay. Game 1, Spartans clearly broke the plane.
No one to blame but the Spartans. That running into the kicker was stupid as shit. Yes I said it, SHIT.
Have to see how the team is looking next year, but no Cousins, will be some building going on.
